Sony has recently unveiled its first 3D ready Blu ray player called BDP-S470 which can be updated to play the Blu ray 3D content with the help of a firmware update. This player by the company will support CD, DVD, single-disc Blu ray and SA-CD media. Besides providing exciting experience of Blu ray 3D playback this player when connected to the broadband network will instantly stream music, videos, movie and much more from Amazon Video On Demand, Netflix, Slacker Internet Radio, YouTube, NPR, Sony Pictures, Sony Music, Pandora and more than 25 providers through its platform of Sony BRAVIA Internet Video.
This latest player will also feature the Entertainment Database Browser using the Gracenote technologies which will allow the users to browse the details like production and actor information from the Blu ray discs and access which is related to the content found of BRAVIA Internet Video Content. Providing wide array of features this BDP-S470 player by Sony is also consumer wallet friendly as it comes with a price tag of $200.
