For those in anticipation, Palm is working on releasing its latest webOS 1.4 very soon in the market. Of the several features that will be launched with this upgraded version of webOS will be the support for Adobe Flash player. This update will not only will permit customers to view streaming video but will also allow them to browse flash enabled websites and play flash games on popular sites such as Facebook and Orkut that have users captivated with flash games.
One of the much awaited enhancements with this version is the video recording capability which has eluded the Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus customer fraternity over a long time. Until now, cameras on the Palm phones were only used for taking pictures.
The webOS multi-tasking operating system will enable the Palm devices to sync wirelessly, all of its pictures, videos, music and files with online giants like Facebook, Yahoo, and Google as well as Microsoft Exchange.
