Powerplus has introduced their solar powered TV remote control called Leopard. This Universal remote control works like any other remote available in the market but the difference lies in its efficient use of power.
Instead of using batteries the Leopard can be charged from direct sunlight or the ambient light from any of the artificial sources which means that it will keep on going and going to provide you the power to control your TV. There are 34 different function buttons on this remote control so as to make sure that it fits all your TV needs and it can also be easily programmed to any particular model of TV.
The solar panel inside the remote charges the internal lithium ion battery and the electrical power is stored in it till it is required. This remote measures 7.3 X 1.9 X 0.7 inches in size and has weight of around 76g which is almost the same as compared to the standard battery operated remotes available in the market.
