Acer has recently unveiled its first e-Book reader called LumiRead which will offer an excellent reading experience to the users. Clear.fi solution of Acer will be implemented into the DLNA complaint device which will allow to access the Acer clear.fi and share contents like audio books and ebooks across various compatible devices. Other features of LumiRead which makes it an impressive gadget include 6 inches of E-Ink display, 2GB of internal flash storage, QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, 3G and microSD card slot.
This ebook reader also has an in built ISBN scanner which allows the user to create their own wish list or make an online search for a certain book. Acer has already signed agreements with Barnes & Noble in US, Libri.de in Germany and the Founder in China to offer the localized contents in English, Chinese and German language. The Acer LumiRead will be available in the market from third quarter of this year but the price of the device is not yet revealed by the company.
