Corsair has recently made an addition to its Force Series of SSDs with the launch of new models which will be available in capacities of 40GB, 80GB and 160GB. Earlier these solid state drives were available in options of 60GB, 120GB and 240GB. Thus with the addition of 3 more capacities user will have wider choice to make as per their requirements.
These latest SSDs from Corsair just like their predecessors come loaded with variety of features. These 2.5 inches of SSDs will feature SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, MLC NAND Flash memory chips, TRIM support and others. These drives are capable of providing read and write speeds up to 285MB/s and 275MB/s respectively.
The Force Series of SSDs from Corsair are based on the SandForce SF-1200 SSD processor that enables the drives with lower capacities to offer the performance like the larger capacity SSDs. Moreover these drives include DuraWrite technology which offers them good read and write speeds.
