Panasonic has recently launched its Toughbook Permanent Display Removable Computer (PDRC) which is a computer to be used by public safety vehicles. This latest computer comes along with a display that will be vehicle mounted and will have a full functioning keyboard for great convenience and accessibility. The PDRC is capable of working with other Toughbook computers like Toughbook U1, Hi Field, 19 and 31.
There is 12.1 inches of sunlight viewable touch screen in the device that offers resolution count of 1024 X 768 pixels and ranges from 2 to 1600 nit so that it can be used in extreme dark as well as in sunlight.
Other impressive features of this device include integrated sun visor, 3 USB 2.0 ports, spill resistant backlight keyboard, 5 programmable function keys, red and backlight programmable emergency key on the keyboard and the Touch screen and others. The Panasonic Toughbook Permanent Display Removable Computer measures 10.4 X 11 X 1.2 inches in size and runs on Windows 7 OS.
