Corsair added two new 90GB solid state drives to its Force Series range. The new SSDs – the Force and Force GT SATA use ONFI synchronous flash memory that is suitable for reading music as well as video files creating read and write speed of 555 MB/s and 505 MB/s respectively.

The ideal storage temperature for the SSDs is anything between -20° C and +85° C and maximum operating altitude is supposed to be 3048 meters.
Both the models are compatible with SATA II and SATA I. Technical specifications include: SATA 3 6Gb/s Interface compatibility; they can be operated in temperatures ranging from 0° C to +70° C; and, they are compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Linux, and Macintosh OS X.
Both the models have 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch hard-drive bay and they are accompanied with 3.5-inch adapter for desktop PCs. The Force Series 3 90GB is priced at $159 and Force Series GT 90GB SSD is priced at $199.
