Remember all those Disney movies you used to watch when you were just a kid? Well, now you have a chance to relive your childhood since NTT DoCoMo, in collaboration with the Walt Disney Company, recently announced a couple of Android powered smartphones under the label “Disney Mobile on NTT docomo”.
Both the F-08D and the P-05D Android handsets are sure to put a sparkle in your kid’s eyes and who knows…may be even in yours?
Design
- Both the DoCoMo F-08D and the P-05D flaunt waterproof and dustproof exteriors for rugged use.
- While the rear panel of the F-08D, the high-end one among the two, comes equipped with a 13.1 megapixel camera, an 8.2 megapixel camera complements the P-05D.
- The sleek 8.8mm chassis of the F-08D will come wrapped in two colours – shiny pink and shiny white. Similarly, the P-05D sporting a form factor of 7.8mm will be available in pure white and black shades.
Features
- A 4.3 inch HD TFT display with a resolution of 720 x 1,280 p and an integrated 4.3 inch Organic EL QHD screen with a visual resolution of 540 x 960p characterize the F-08D and the P-05D handsets respectively.
- The embedded OMAP4430 1.2 GHz dual core chip provides power to the F-08D while its lesser counterpart, the P-05D gets its power from the OMAP4430 1 GHz dual core processor.
- The F-08D’s onboard battery gives enough juice to handle 330 minutes of continuous talktime on 3G networks easily. It also comes preloaded with a 2 GB micro SD card which can be expanded up to 32 GB.
- In addition to all this, each smartphone will provide access to Disney animations, applications, games as well as the Osaifu-Keifai mobile-wallet service.
While the F-08D releases towards the end of February, the P-05D has an expected release date of March. However, both will be available only in Japan.
