Sony has come out with its latest DSLR for the Indian markets. This new player is known as Sony SLT-A77 or Sony Alpha 77. This mighty camera from Sony is powered with some superb specifications and looks like a solid model. Alpha 77 was announced in august but has set foot in India on a fresh basis.
Sony Alpha 77 comes with a 24 megapixel crop sensor which is first of its kind. This camera also has been equipped with recently designed BIONZ processor. In addition to this feature, Sony Alpha 77 also features translucent mirror transmission technology which clubbed with the BIONZ processor allows it to shoot at 12 frames per second. This is an extraordinary and first of its kind feature for APS sized DSLRs.
Gone are the days of the conventional viewfinders as this DSLR houses a 2.4 million dot OLED viewfinder which provides 100% coverage and 1.09% larger magnification capability. The viewfinder has 19 focus points out of which 11 are cross type which help in focus tracking. This DSLR is made up of Magnesium alloy and also has an extensive weather seal under its body, under the dial and memory card compartment. Sony Alpha 77 is priced at Rs. 69900(for body only).
