At the recent I /O developer event, Google has made an announcement about its latest Android Version 4.1 which will be known as Jelly Bean. This latest version of the OS will be made available for the platform lead devices along with source code by mid July.
The latest OS will make the functioning of the Ice Cream Sandwich OS faster as well as smoother and it is an incremental update to the ICS. The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS will being in host of user interface changes including widget control, improved notifications, native camera application, voice typing and others. Above all the updated OS will facilitate better control and flexibility to the creators of the application.
The widget control feature of the OS will enable the users to automatically resize the applications widgets which will depend as to where the users drop them. Reorientation of the interface will also be possible with the upgraded OS.
Jelly Bean also features offline voice typing which is now supported only for the US English but more languages will be added later on. The project buffer feature of the OS will make the responsiveness of the devices running on this platform very smooth as it will make use of the vsync timing and triple buffering. Beside these many other features have been added to the OS to enhance the overall experience of the users.
