Sony has comes forward and officially announced the release of a new camera which is known as Sony DSC-RX100. This new model from Sony sports a 1 inch CMOS sensor which is 4 times bigger than the sensors found in the traditional point and shoot cameras. This sensor has a 20MP pixel count and is as big as that found in Nikon’s mirrorless system.
Sony DSC-RX100 is home to some brilliant specification and this doesnt come as a result of sacrificing of the form factor. Infact this camera packs a Carl Zeiss 28-100mm lens with an aperture of f/1.8-f/4.9. The ISO range of this stylish piece from Sony is 100-6400 which is quite impressive for a camera of this nature. It also offers shooting of 10 frames per second which might sound alluring to many enthusiasts. Besides these features, RX100 is also capable of recording images in camera raw format.
Sony DSC-RX100 has included a customisable ring on its front side which can have a range of functions for the users. This camera is slated to be released in July in the USA but its price and availability slot in India is still under the wraps. But surely one can wait for such a masterpiece!
